The Wizard of Oz

On November 8^th and 9^th the VDS Drama Workshop presented the musical comedy The Wizard of Oz that proved to be a big success: we had more than 500 spectators in two performances!

Thirty four pupils from 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th forms and even a boy from 3^rd form had the chance to show their acting, dancing and singing abilities to a large and enthusiastic audience.

Rehearsals were long and demanded hard work, especially from a great number of our young actors that played different roles and took part in most scenes. But in the end it was clear that all children loved what they were doing and put heart and soul into it.
