More about the Teatro Colon Outing

I liked it very much! Because last year we learnt about the Globe and Shakespeare, but not about our Colon theatre, which is an amazing opera house. I learnt a lot and I enjoyed the outing because I wanted to know about our culture. The widows had to wear black clothes for 2 years and paid the same as anyone, but they could only listen to the opera music because they had a special place not to be seen. It was unfair! I adored the statue that you can see different things from different perspectives, because it cost a lot to make it! I loved the outing and I played and laughed with my friends! I will never forget when we walked along the red carpet, I felt like a famous person. I loved it!

The Colon Theatre is very interesting and the things I liked the most were, the stained glass because it called my attention. Also, I liked the dome because it was very detailed and I loved the sculpture because it had different points of views. But I didn’t like my guide much because he explained very important information and he talked too fast.

The Guide:
I didn’t like my guide so much because he spoke very quickly, like a robot. However, he knew a lot.
Auditorium:
My favourite part of the Colon Theatre was the dome, where singers go and can´t be seen. It was really interesting.
I learned that widows had to go with black clothes, without being seen and they had a special widow box.
Golden Room:
The chandelier of the golden room is amazing.
