On Saturday 11^th and Tuesday 14^th November the VDS Drama Workshop presented the musical comedy School of Rock.

Rehearsals were quite demanding for our 43 young actors as there were 19 scenes to put on, a good number of songs – 20 in all – to learn and practise and many lines to memorize, especially for the main characters. But the outcome proved that all that effort was worthwhile.

Some individual performances were really outstanding, but the whole company did their best and the audience was able to see that all of them enjoyed what they were doing.
