On May 5th, we went to La Catita, a farm near the town of La Niña. We went there with 6thB and many teachers, such as Damian or Ruth. We travelled there by bus. The journey was 6 hours long.

The farm was very big, many crops, like soy or wheat, were grown there. It was very big and, although it was morning or evening, it was colorful. The house was very big and the rooms were for twelve persons. On the farm there was a football field, a lagoon, and many more places.

We vaccinated a cow, we gave syrup to a sheep, and learnt that, for example, a colony of bees, if in plains, can produce one hundred kilos of honey per year. I liked watching the stars, but I didn`t like the trip back home, which was long.

Something I`ll never forget is when Bautista (a kid from 6thB) tried riding a sheep but fell.

On Tuesday 5th May, we went to a beautiful farm called “La Catita”. It was in “9 de Julio”. We went with 6th B and with some teachers like Gustavo, Damián, Vicky, and Ruth, the English headmistress, was there, too. We went on a big bus. The bus had two TVs. Some movies were played, but nobody watched them. I listened to music and talked with my friends. We couldn´t stop talking about what we were going to do! We were very nervous. But, something that I didn’t like was that the journey lasted 6 hours! When we arrived, I didn’t feel my feet!

The farm was very big.  It had a lot of different things like, a football field, a stable, and a lot of fields of crops, of soy, maize, and wheat. The house was enormous! It had more than 5 rooms! My room had six bunk beds. We were twelve boys in one room! The room was not so big. I don’t know why, but I couldn’t sleep in that closed room … I couldn’t breathe. I didn’t like the night very much.

We did different things. We went to a dairy farm where we saw a lot of cows. We called one of them “Peter”. While I was talking to “Juan”, Peter hit me on the bottom. I loved playing with the piglets, but I didn’t like the smell of the cows … Now I know what life on the farm is like.

My best memory is when I vaccinated the cows. But something I will never forget is when we went to the lake. There, all of the boys fell down in the water. And “Juanma” got stuck there. It was the best trip ever!!!
